Clean lists. Protect forms. Watch your domain health.

Email Validator by N-Software is a list-cleaning and inbox-health tool for marketers, founders, agencies and developers. It checks syntax, DNS and mail-server signals, then returns an honest status instead of pretending every address can be reduced to a simple yes or no.

Use it before a campaign, inside your lead forms, during WooCommerce checkout, in an automation workflow, or over a REST API from your own product.

Built for deliverability, not just format checking

A well-formed address can still be disposable, catch-all, blocked, full, mistyped or connected to a domain with no usable mail route. Email Validator combines multiple signals and preserves uncertainty when a provider does not give a definitive answer.

More than a syntax check.

The platform follows a practical validation flow: normalize the address, inspect the domain and MX records, detect disposable or role patterns, use SMTP signals where appropriate, and return a status your team can act on.

Real SMTP verification

Mailbox-level checks where mail-server behavior allows it — not a fake syntax-only badge.

MX

Domain & MX checks

Confirm that a domain has a usable route for receiving email before deeper validation.

Disposable detection

Identify temporary and throwaway providers that can pollute lead and newsletter lists.

@

Catch-all awareness

Separate catch-all domains from genuinely confirmed individual mailboxes.

?

Honest uncertainty

Risky and unknown are preserved when a provider response cannot support a definitive claim.

Typo & role signals

Surface common domain mistakes and role-account patterns before they become bad leads.

What each result means

valid

Mailbox is confirmed by available validation signals. High confidence.

invalid

Mailbox or receiving route is definitively rejected. High confidence.

risky

Insufficient confidence for a firm answer; handle according to your list policy.

catch_all

Domain accepts many or all recipient addresses; not individual mailbox proof.

over_quota

Mailbox is reported as full. The address may exist but cannot currently receive mail.

unknown / error

No definitive result or a technical failure. Treat separately from invalid addresses.

How validation works

  1. Paste an address, upload a list, use the API, or validate a WordPress form submission.
  2. We normalize the address and check syntax, domain signals, MX, disposable patterns and relevant mailbox checks.
  3. Yahoo/AOL-style domains use the appropriate provider-aware route when required.
  4. You receive a clear status, confidence and supporting signals for your workflow.

Credit policy: definitive valid and invalid outcomes consume verification credits. Catch-all, risky and unknown outcomes stay free.

Bulk list cleaning, live API and deliverability tools.

Whether you have ten contacts or thousands, the same result model follows your data. Upload a file, call the API, or use the WordPress plugin to prevent poor addresses from entering your system in the first place.

Bulk validation without guesswork

  • Upload lists for practical cleanup before a campaign or import.
  • Track processing progress and status counts while the job runs.
  • Download results with validation data added to your workflow.
  • Reuse prior definitive results where appropriate instead of paying twice.
  • Keep ambiguous results visible instead of silently marking them invalid.

Safe behavior when a result is not definitive

The plugin blocks invalid and disposable results by default. It permits risky, catch-all, unknown and rate-limited results so real customers are not locked out just because a provider cannot give a firm answer.

Fail-open protection: if the API is unreachable or a temporary network issue occurs, the form is allowed to submit. Your site should not stop collecting leads because an external check is temporarily unavailable.

You can optionally block free consumer providers such as Gmail, Yahoo or Outlook when a workflow requires business-domain addresses only.

New in version 1.3.26: optional data cleanup on deletion

Enable Remove all plugin data when the plugin is deleted if you permanently remove the plugin and want its settings, cached results, logs and plugin-created data deleted too. This action is irreversible; export any records you need before deleting the plugin.
